I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2017. I started the some diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found Lisa’s diabetes story (google ” How I freed myself from diabetes ” ) I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next week my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 16 pounds and 3+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

Unfortunately, plan administrators being largely insurers, will move very quickly to adopt the buzzword but very slowly to use it effectively. The greatest value proposition in blockchain is providing much more credible data in a highly scalable format. This optimizes decision-making and re-purposing of data for multiple poorly integrated services including but not limited to: referral optimization, prior-auth process improvement, telemedicine, patient engagement, medical/population/disease/complex chronic care management, drug management, patient education, dynamic treatment protocols, personal health records, disability management, enrollment and eligibility. While FaceBook collects more information on individuals (and sells it shamelessly and irresponsibly) than they tell individuals. FB isn’t your friend. We must recognize that FB subscribers aren’t their customers. On the contrary, they are the product !!

And despite rightful moral arguments against eugenics, what FB is suggesting is the informational foundation to enable eugenics to become reality. FB is the greatest threat to empowering human social and physical engineering. (Think “The Final Solution”.) If anyone believes FB will hold your personal health info (or any other info for that matter) as your sacred personal property, you are delusional.

I don’t use FaceBook and never will. Years ago I started filling out the FB application and after a few questions I realized FB wanted more info than I was willing to provide and stopped the process because I recognized FB would never stop trying to collect and monetize personal data — regardless of legal or moral prohibitions.

Give it a go and find out for yourself. If you’re committed — it isn’t easy — you will succeed.

They arrived in a horse-drawn buggy and paid 100% cash. Like those experienced in “the art of the deal”, they negotiated the best prices as time allowed. They had Mennonite friends drive them out of state for a cheaper MRI, Xrays, or equivalent surgical procedures as needed, if they were unable to bring down local prices. Price transparency and local flexible options are basic to a health care system which benefits both providers and consumers, patients and the public.

Like so many in the tech sector, or the consultant world, you seem to believe that if we just had more innovation, we could “fix” health care and the attendant high cost and poor quality. But that, alas, is not the case. If you ever studied process improvement you’d know why. Processes aren’t principally improved by the deployment of new technology. They improve through the redesign of the processes themselves (inputs and outputs). The design of health care is the problem, not the lack of technology or innovation. Design begins with reimbursement–all systems get exactly what they pay for. In the American model, we pay for episodic, disconnected care in specialty clinics and hospitals. We also pay variably among the various payer types, commercial, medicare, medicaid. The only “fix” for this system is single payer or a highly regulated payer environment. Everything else, as they say, is rearranging the deck chairs on the health care Titanic. I wish more people would stop expecting a different result from the same payment schemes.
